Flatweave

A flatweave rug is created using a weaving technique on a traditional loom, with many knots. Created by interlocking warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal) threads to form a non pile rug. When finished, these fibres create the entirety of the rug’s surface, therefore the pattern is usually reversible. Flatweave rugs are usually a thick weave but lightweight, durable and easy to clean. Our Flatweave rugs are made of Wool sourced in New Zealand and Argentina.
